Free cremation is available for individuals who choose to participate in whole body donation. Through our partnership with Science Care—the nation’s first accredited whole body donation program—we are proud to offer cremation at no cost. This meaningful alternative to traditional cremation supports medical research, training, and education, helping to advance healthcare for future generations. Every donor and their family is honored with the utmost care, respect, and dignity.

White Diamond Funeral Services will handle all of the following details at no cost to the family:

Transportation from place of death to ScienceCare for donation (24 hours a day)
Filing of death certificate and permit
Notification to Social Security
Container used during cremation
Free (optional) online obituary
Cremation (usually in 2 weeks from date of death) and ashes are returned to the family
Basic urn for the ashes

Organ donors are eligible to donate, and many people meet the criteria for donation, even those with cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and certain medical conditions. “No Cost” Cremation can also be arranged in advance.
